How do I started with Meditation and Mindfulness?
It is probably more simple than you think!
You can download apps, use youtube, or more. There is dedicated guided meditations to help keep you on track to start!
What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the you focusing on the ability to be present, aware of where you are and what we’re doing. This allows you to stay in control of yourself and not let your sensory overload take over!
You can do mindfulness anywhere, anytime, anyplace. Just setting time aside for yourself in your day is needed!
The goal of mindfulness is to wake up to the inner workings of our mental, emotional, and physical processes.
What is meditation?
Meditation is exploring your inner thought.
It’s a special place where each and every moment is dedicated to you and making sure you are relieving stress and distractions.
When we meditate, our other senses go on overdrive: touch on the skin, our emotions, the sounds around us, and more
Mindfulness meditation asks us to approach our thoughts and inner thinking with warmth and kindness, to ourselves and others.
How do I practice mindfulness and meditation?
Set aside 10 minutes to start. Just close your eyes and focus on yourself. don't let any distractions come into your dedicated time.
Use an app, youtube, etc if you need someone to guide you to start. no problem with that. you don't go to the gym and hit the heaviest weights first. small steps to biggest steps.
you will come out of the 10 mins feeling rejuvenated, fresh, and ready to conquer the world!
